Process through which orgs are created and in turn shape and create events and meanings if the focus of org cmn. We live, work, and play in complex cmn environment. The complexities of all org life and rapid increase in cmn technologies place increasing demands on our individual cmn abilities. Goal: develop knowledge, sensitivity, skill, and value competencies through an interaction of theory, practice, and analysis. Objectives: assess their personal development needs/ practice analysis capabilities. Information society: more and more jobs in communication deal with people and all of these require information. There"s a difference between information and knowledge. When looking at communication you have to know what is knowledgeable. Org excellence: it is a tool which we in communications to achieve org excellence. It is not something, which you can achieve overnight. Communication competency: when it comes to cmn competency you have to look into different analysis to improve the cmn competency.
