Represents a good image of the profession. Ex. in regina, people will like journalists. Helps the employer/ institution to achieve their goals. Maintains a mutual helpful coordination with authorities. In normal situations, to coordinate with authorities, journalists should not interfere with them doing their job. They always investigate and hold the government to account. In crisis/ war situations, journalists must abide by the rules without questioning them. Extreme example: imbalance in achieving these responsibilities is evident. Ex. journalists using ironic statements in reporting on 2003 iraq war, journalists should stick to facts! Ex. economists reporting on mohammed saeed al-sahhaf iraq"s marvelous minister of (mis)information -this is a very personal criticism. Viewing the issue from one side and asking questions hoping to get a specific answer.
