The key difference is the kind of polls they are sighting. Trump is dealing with unscientific polls whereas clinton focuses on more scientific ones. Clintons claim of winning the debate is more credible due to this. You could spam a poll and falsify the results leading to skewed results. Trump"s supporters artificially changed the polls in order to make it look like he won the debate when in fact this is not the case. A man not prepared showing up to compete with a woman who was much better prepared. He was prepared for a show addressing his supporters he did his best to be fair. He interrupted clinton 25x in the first 26 minutes, he talked over both her and the moderator. Trump has a fixation with women"s appearances, when men talk about women they hear that something is wrong with them (too vulnerable to that message) The sexist, the very trump full of himself showed up.
