Document Summary

Today we will be talking about groups in organizations. When we are working in a group setting we need talent so we can use our different talents that will benefit the group in the long run. Another strength of using groups is the motivational attributes. On of the skills employers look for is getting along with others. A group is a unit of several people that increasingly form a team with a spirit of cooperation, positive interdependence, and commonly understood procedures. All members influence each other through social interactions. An aggregate is a collection of individuals who are present at the same time and place but do not form a unit or have a common degree of similarity. An example of a group would be the small groups we do our projects in. Whereby we work together while using our different skills and talents to complete the task at hand.
