There is a broader understanding of justice than in the criminal justice system. How we approach justice is a reflection of us as a society. State is responsible in criminal court for crimes, they are to prosecute the alleged criminal. You(cid:859)(cid:448)e (cid:271)ee(cid:374) (cid:272)aught, (cid:455)ou a(cid:396)e getti(cid:374)g pu(cid:374)ished, do(cid:374)(cid:859)t do it again. Not only just a position on what to do but understanding how to be a human in society and how society functions. Based on this idea that the pain of the punishment is bigger than the benefits of the (cid:272)(cid:396)i(cid:373)e, so the(cid:455) (cid:449)o(cid:374)(cid:859)t do it. There used to be 200 laws that could get you on death row even though they were petty crimes.
