Valid opinion is backed up by reason (ratonal argument) Cuing of speech is impeding on liberty h t h whether you silence one person or one hundred people it is stll the same infringement of liberty c e e p s f o. A society in which the minority cannot speak, the society is deemed to not be free. If a society wants to be free, all people need to have freedom of speech. Problem: all silencing of discussion is an assumpton of infallibility. Freedom of speech is important; we need to have that right but we need to have limits to that right.
