People over 65 are most likely to be victims of crime fiction (they are instead the most fearful of being victimized) Poor people are much more likely to commit crime than middle-class people fiction (but they are more likely to be caught and to be convicted) Violent crime inflicts the most harm on people in society fiction (we just think it does cause the effect of violent crime is immediate. But corporate crime takes a while to affect people, so we assume it doesn"t harm us as much, while it actually harms us more) The good old days existed when youth crime wasn"t a huge problem fiction (there was no good old days where youth did not commit crime, young people have always been up to no good") Ex: seeing grey clouds and theorizing that it is going to rain.
