His conclusion was that atavists (born criminals) did not exist. Slight physical differences (prisoners weighed less but mostly because they were fed less). Below average intelligence (he determined intelligence by the interviewers impressions). Strong correlations between criminality of parents and children (he thought it was inherited and had nothing to do with environment). Not simply learned behavior so its not because they learned it from their parents. His conclusion is that criminals are physically and mentally defective due to genetics. He did not concern himself with environmental factors. Flaw in his theory so he ignored females and just focused on males. ) His method was he studied 7 generations of the jukes. The jukes were a family with a lot of criminality patterns. 729 members of family over a hundred were criminals, many had had sexually transmitted diseases etc. In todays days this family would have cost the system 25 million dollars.
