The whole essay is organized around your position or proposal, and you are trying to persuade the reader that your position or proposal is an acceptable or valid one. Make a moral judgment: find the appropriate standard of evaluation, logical standard is the one we have most been dealing with: critiques use a logical standard. However, all your arguments need to use good logic, so god logic is implied in making a persuasive argument.
