Literature has arguably had a bigger impact on modern culture than the history books. Literature provides the opportunity to relive and emotional experience and share it with others. They are more than just creators, they are prophets, giving identity to past events or emotions or stories. Poetry was once performed publicly, it was made to be publicised and shared. As is called lyric poems were just that: lyrics. Many went along with music but many were read or sang to portray the intended message of the artist. Poetry used to be written and performed about the great struggles and wars of the past. The story telling provides a narrative, emotional witness and tries to make sense of what has happened. In the 19th century, works were intentionally made to be public literature. It was bought, consumed, studied, to further understand the happenings of that era.
