Canadian stats: 1 in 4 men would rape if given the opportunity. But flip stat, it means that men would. More good men than bad, but they need to stand up against vaw. As such majority of men do not actually mean that all men will or wish to rape. Some myths about men & rape: men are biologically pre-disposed, good men don"t do it. Our men don"t do it: stranger danger is the real issue, women can prevent rape from following a list of don"ts , consent is not always clear. Problematic as it insults men and lowers them to the same level as animals/children. Making them out to be incapable of controlling themselves. -women are mostly likely to be sexually assaulted by people they know vs. strangers. Idea of stranger danger is heavily sold by the media but statistically the likely hood of attack and assault is often more likely with people you know.
