Earth will re emit radiation in the shape of infrared this time, and this goes back to space- earth h is not open in terms of matter- we are not creating new matter to earth- recycling and stuff. Meteors coming to earth is a new type of matter (few exception to the theory that earth is open) If meteors are coming then that means that earth is giving them off as well. Input of sunlight, gases and outputs oxygen (can be used as actual matter) input of water through plant root, output of water through transpiration through leaves. At night we have cellular respiration (the opposite) Inputs/outputs of energy but no input or output of matter across the system boundaries. We"re not creating matter- we"re using what is available on earth.
