Impacts: 488 homes lost; 1230 homes damaged; 16000 residents evacuated; 10 people killed by landslides (sensitive clays) and flooding: extensive damage (total cost sh. 8-1 billion) to: Ha! and rivi re mars) - stone consolidated dyke ruptured releasing 30 x 106 m3 water.
