Climate data analysis: precipitation in according to temperature. Purpose: this lab compares the data retrieved from precipitation and temperature in ottawa from the past 120 years. This lab also allows student to learn the basic skills on excel to properly compare and analyze graphs. Methods: using the excel file ottawa_monthly_v4. xls that contains the average total monthly average precipitation over the past 120 years. As well as using the data from lab 1, monthly average temperatures will be used to compare the mean monthly totals of precipitations. We will be using graphs to analyze the trends of seasonal and annual precipitation totals. Also, we will be making a graph with a secondary axis to compare the temperature and precipitation.
