Viral diagnosis (can be done in 3 ways) Detection in clinical specimens: visualization by electron microscopy, you prepare it, put it under the electron microscope and see what"s good, cell culture (cytopathic effects, hemagglutination, immunofluorescence) Detection of patients" immune response: antibody detection, presence of absence (elisa) Immunity test: rise in antibody titre or high antibody titre, diagnostic test.
