About 195 children under the age of five in the developing world are underdeveloped. Nearly children under five is underweight, 1/10 is severely underweight. Undernutrition is mostly concentrated in a few countries in africa and asia (42% live in india alone: sub-saharan africa and south asia. 1/3 of all food produced is never consumed but about 870 million people in the world suffer each day from hunger. Food mostly falls off or spoils during transportation. Why: global supply of wheat was lowest in 50 years (only 5 weeks of global reserve on hand, producers restricted exports, ensure supply for domestic populations.
