Ozone layer is a protective layer that shields us from the sun"s uv rays things like: refrigerators, a/c units, phones, aerosols, fire extinguishers, solvents, and pesticides) Because it"s being destroyed, we as humans are more susceptible to sun burns and skin cancer sunscreen is highly recommended when out in the sun. Cbc news report from 2006: says uv rays are more harmful and predicted that it will only continue to get worse due to thinning of the ozone layer.
