There are different levels of evidence that basically categorizes where the research comes from. Level 4 is evidence from clinical experts, findings are more objective and less controlled. Can be used in various situations, sometimes more intuitive and other times more intentional: ex. Patient came into hospital with heart attack and after procedure came back to unit to recover. Common to have a catheter in femoral area and usually it is taken out after procedure and during recovery. Must lay still and not get up before removal because the catheter can puncture the artery if they move too much. This patient could not keep still even after being told why it was important to. He then was asked why he is so anxious and he said he was a muslim believer and at that hour of the day he would normally be praying. After thinking through some things, he was asked if there was another way to pray.
