Being a good nurse involves understanding patient"s on an emotional level, realizing that they have lives and experiences outside of the hospital, and have needs that must be met. Being a good nurse also means advocating for your patients, showing them that you care through your actions, and making sure that they recieve the best care possibly. Another part of being a good nurse is showing your patients that they are not a burden to you or others, and being both emotionally and physically available to meet their needs. Moral experience moral identity moral agency (cyclical: moral indentity is what you believe ids right or wrong, moral agency is your capability to fufill your moral identity, and moral experiences are the situations you are faced with. Values-based practice: empirical vs. normative claims, empirical based on research, experience, observable, normative claim . This chemo will extend life by 6 months. Most canadians state a preference to die at home.
