Document Summary

Sometimes human made laws are unjust laws, and so breaking these laws would be considered to be a just act in society. Environment is special it is an area of space that surrounds us. As humans we cant detach ourselves from the environment. Perhaps we can think of the environment in an organic way in which individuals and things are surrounded by and interdependent on one another in their very nature. Anthropocentrism: human center perception, that humans alone have intrinsic value. The environment has no value in and of itself, rather its value is measured by how it affects humans. A beach is instrumentally valuable because it is used for rest and relaxation for humans. The instrumental value for forests is that it provides lumber for people to use. Ecocentrism: it is the view that not just humans have intrinsic value but other life forms, and individual life forms or ecosystems as well.
