Milton friedman: the purpose of the corporation is to maximize profits so core as the corporation abides by the rules of the game. Freeman: has a stakeholder theory with the 6 stakeholders: in the center is corporation and then we have ---suppliers, local community, owners, customers, employer and management. Raul"s idea of original position (he comes up as a theoretical device to show what a just society looks like) - veil of ignorance (no knowledge of what they will be like in the future. In the veil of ignorance, no rational individual will segregate anyone as you don"t know what gender, religion, class system you will come out in (in the 6 stakeholder category) Place yourself in the position in the person you may potentially affect. Observed the society that he lived in and said that there was something wrong: The connection between word and action could not be trusted (individuals were not honest)
