Natural physical world is a force nature unfolds according to what seems to be a program, they way it evolves and changes. Coming to be of all things whose motion is internal: its unfolding, and natural. Moved away from the idea that nature is good and right: could be due to advancement of technology, we can manipulate nature. The unlimited is associated with technological intervention: able to surpass limits that the natural world has placed on us, now we can explode the limits of nature. Great chain of being puts god at top, angels, men, women, animals, plants, rocks, etc : closer to god, more valuable you were. Nature now has less spirit, importance and value. Greeks had anxiety of interfering too much with nature because nature by definition is dangerous (powerful), and they were interfering with man: if we fiddle with nature too much, we don"t know what could happen.
