Ethics and morals relate to the right and wrong actions or words. Although they have different meanings they are used interchangeably. Ethics is the study of morality using the tools and methods of philosophy. It also refers to the rules set by an external source like the code of conduct in schools, workplaces and religion. Morals refer to an individual"s own principles regarding right and wrong, they come from inside. Morality concerns beliefs regarding morally right and wrong actions and morally good or bad character. We face moral issues everyday in our workplace and community, it can surface pressing moral questions like the fair distribution of healthcare resources, abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide, human cloning, genetic engineering and much more. These topics all bring up moral concern thus this is where bioethics comes into place. To study these topics and to figure out how to do and should we do it. Bioethics is the ethics or biological and medical research.
