Using critical mind and philosophy to investigate bioethical issues. Descriptive ethics is the study of morality using the methodology science. Its purpose is to investigate the empirical facts of morality (the actual beliefs, behaviors, and practices that constitute people"s moral experience (vaughn, p. 4). Uses scientific techniques to study how people reason and act.
