Don"t need to remember dates, not super strict with grammar. 3 essay questions and pick 2 of them. If an omnipotent being wants something done, it gets done. God alone has causal power: complexing claim. Malebranche believes: no other causal power to be found. Active causal power: actively cause something to happen, your actions cause something to be observed/perceived. Passive causal power: passively observe, world causes you to observe certain things. Both are found in minds (or in us) Locke on liberty: what is necessary for freedom: Ability to do something: believes we have the ability to hold back on certain judgements, everything that happens in our mind is brought out by our attempts to avoid pain. 3 degrees of knowledge: intuitive (strongest)
