1. Anti-realist account of language and thought
-language for Nietzsche is our means of access to the world, shapes how we think about
the world, world is filtered through language, world is shaped by our faculties, things do
not really appear as they are.
-the thing in itself is something incomprehensible to us. All language is metaphorical –
all language is a kind of translation/carrying across of reality.
