Class #1 Political Thought: o Endless critical questioning to replace true opinion with knowledge Endless: In general never claims to have find the final answer to true & good politics. Critical activity  should never be stopped. Replace: Begins in the real world of opinions, Socrates and Plato had to be in the real world (body +  desires + sexual impulses + impotence) in the Apology.  o Opinions and Knowledge about what? (i.e. A good soul) o Greeks were very concerned regarding having a good soul and good character. Takes back seat of  ethics, not very important (What I think maters, what the people believe maters = in politics it might  even harm the city?)
