Document Summary

Normative and empirical explanations: he"s suggesting that its not necessarily more profound, but it"s more true and reflects the truth better. That feeling is consequence of believing we have a good way to handle a situation or a good argument. You have to be objective, and not question the end. Empirically you know what to expect at the end, and you don"t question the morality of the decision: axiological rationality is when you have this internal dialogue, whether or not it"s right or wrong. There are arguments that underlie a decision, but there is a feeling attached to it. You"re in a conscious state, and speak to yourself in regards to the action. Kant believes it has to be everyone that agree"s because its not empirical. We expect everyone to think that the principle of contribution is a fair principle and if we don"t think it"s fair, it"s usual because circumstances are very specific.
