Visual capture: vison dominantes, mis perceiving what they hear if the mouthing was actually different from what was spoken. Perceptuel organisation: gestale organize them into a whole, figure- ground "perceive a figure as a figure as being distich from surroundings, grouping- group stimuli tougher by proximity, similarity, continuity, closure and connectedness. Depth perception: we see in 3d even tough the receptor (retina) on has 2d, the ability to see depth is at least partially innate. Bioncular cues to depth: the fact that we have 2 eyes =3d, the image that falls on our 2 eyes is not identical, stereograms: contain 2 different views of the same image. It is the brain that must integrate the 2 different images and thus create depth. Monocular cues: even with on eye we can still see in 3d, relative size, relative height. Interposition: linear perspective, texture gradient, relative brightness.
