Stress: involves both psychological and physiological processes: feel stressed when we"re in a situation that we perceive is threatening to us or beyond our ability to cope with. The stress response system: canon: first to scientifically study stress. Body prepares itself for flight or fight: selye: for 40 years he researched stress.
