It was developed by john reid, a polygrapher in chicago and is three-stage process with the primary objective of having the suspect confess to the crime: Gathering evidence related to the crime and to interview witnesses and victims; Conducting a non-accusatorial interview of the suspect to assess any evidence of deception: you try to determine if the suspect is lying through the usage by what you"re saying, your alibi, etc.
