We also need to have 2 of the following: Severity: level 1: requiring support, social communication problems, inflexibility, level 2: requiring substantial support, marked deficits in verbal and non-verbal social communication, inflexibility noted by casual observer, level 3: requiring very substantial support, severe deficits causing severe impairments. The other 10%: their new diagnosis would be social communication disorder. Looking at something: lack of imitative play, loss of skills at any age.
