Sociology is the study of people in groups: war, bowling, etc. Canada: clothing, weather, languages, diversity, polite, regionalism. A lot of sociology we will be discussing with be europe, the states. Uottawa is the only uni that gets easter off; used to be a religious college. Take home exam will be given a week ahead of due date, you have everything you will need in the outline, the only thing you are missing is the question: will be given. Exams will all be m/c; midterm is 60 questions=will be online; final=120 m/c=online (cumulative); or you can do it in class; strong internet connection. National organizations, institutions, and ethnic subcultures (a lot of us life in the hyphen) local organizations and community: me (and my inner circle) Sociology: the systematic study of human groups and their interactions, can take place at anytime as long as you have two people: the dyad, sociological perspective.
