A desiring machine will be introduced and later changed into assemblages. To want something - like money, belongingness, success, love. Wanting something that one does not have, they lack something. Has been seen as other than life or something to be interpreted. Thus, desires become representations and mirror images of what one is lacking. Desire is simply production - it produces something very specific. Every objects presupposes the continuity of a flow, every flow, the fragmentation of the object" For a desire to continue to function, it can never have its object - this would be the death of desire. Desire is not about lack, for desire to work it is productive, it is not and cannot be limited to the relation between a subject and the desired object. Desire cannot be reduced to just sexual desires. Desire is not something we need to repress or retain to enter society.
