the tilt of the earth's spin b the season would be more varied than now because they would cause more extreme variances in seasons seasons do vary but over a long period of time does the moon rotate? we only seed one side of the moon commonly interpreted that the moon does not rotate but it does if it didn't rotate we would see both sides of the moon to keep one side alway facing earth the moon must rotate once each orbit it is called a synchronized oration because the time to spin is the same as the time to  rotate this is not an accident what causes eclipses? at new phase (day said away form us), the moon can pass in front of the sun, preventing  sunlight form reaching earth it is called a solar eclipse, moon is in­between the sun and the Earth at full phase, the moon can pass through earth's shadow, preventing sunlight form  illuminating th
