Document Summary

Water molecules behaviour depends on it form. Waters properties depend on its molecular structure. Cohesion, water molecules are attracted and bond with one another. Water molecules are holding on to each other and create surface tension. If very close to water its cooler, and further away from water is hotter cause water absorbs heat from the sun. Larger spaces in bonds means lower density. Macromolecules that are in all living organisms are: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, nucleic acids. Polysaccharides: consist of long chains of sugars examples are starch, glycogen and cellulose. Starch is the energy storage of glucose in plants. Glycogen: energy storage in animals, in liver and muscle. Cellulose: found in the cell walls of plants. Fiber: cellulose: polysaccharide most abundant compounds on earth, derives from plant material and not considered a nutrient because can"t break in down since we don"t have enzyme cellulace.
