Document Summary

Take matter from surroundings, dissect them and try to understand how it shapes our environment. Such as cell communication is essential in all organisms. Majority of organisms on earth are unicellular. Even multicellular organisms originated from single cell. Extremely important as without it adjustment and communication can not happen to improve survivability. All living things are made up of cells. New cells arise only from pre-existing cells. All cells store hereditary information in the same linear chemical code i. e. dna. Dna is made up of deoxyribose sugar, a nitrogenous base, and a phosphate group. One dna strand is made up of many nucleotides. Dna has a sugar-phosphate backbone and hydrogen-bond base pairing. Steps to make dna: nucleotide monomer, a dna strand (made up of many nucleotides, polymerization of a complementary strand to the dna strand, hydrogen bond pairing, double-stranded dna, dna double helix. Cells replicate their hereditary info by templated polymerization.
