If cycle is 28 days, you know that the mid cycle -14 days is the day of ovulation. If the period occurs at 30 days, subtract 14 to know the ovulation day. After ovulation, there are 14 days for the next cycle. At the time of ovulation, because there is a rupture of the graffian follicle.
