Document Summary

All sponges have particular structures that help maintain their body structure. Trichoplax adhaerens, a placozoan: not a unicellular organism, trichoplax mean hairy plate. These organisms were extremely flat and would stick to class they were bounded in. Boxed jelly fish are the most poisonous jellyfish. Animals have sensory organs and nervous systems, they are heterotrophs they get their energy from other animals, they are multicellular, most of the animals have mobility at some point during their life. Animals are multicellular, heterotrophic eukaryotes with tissues that develop from embryonic layers. Given the diversity, all animal"s can be characterized by a body plan: The organism can be divided into two comparable sections. To define symmetry look for structures in the body so you can divide it into equal parts. An owl has a symmetric body split right in the middle. An earth worm can also be split in the middle giving two equal parts of the body.
