Document Summary

Hard copy goes into drop box and turnitin by midnight. Think effective writing (ie. elements of effective scientific or technical witing) Typed double spaced, 12 pt, times new roman. Don"t need to put in methods summary of why you were doing what you were doing and what you found. Abstract a good abstract contains: purpose results and conclusion(what do results mean) Materials/methods state question introduce basic principles and terminology that a reader might not understand would happen. Why do we care/why did you do the experiment in the first place. Why care about enzymes and km values. What is your hypothesis and main goal/what did you predict. At least 5 references; 3 primary research articles. Past tense state that you followed procedures outlined in lab manual do not go in detail if you did something different than described by the lab manual state what was different: switched machine and calibrated. Bare bones of this is what we found.
