Document Summary

To enliven or decorate (least important in hsc) Mimetic color - wavelengths of light reflected in other wavelengths and certain ones are absorbed. Example; certain wavelengths of color are reflected and certain ones are absorbed so that is why we perceive certain colors in a certain way. Example; rendering a species as the color it is. In hsc, we use mimetic color to portray disease in tissues - when tissue is inflamed we use colors that make it look inflamed (red) Used to look at differences between devices. Main purpose is to account the different elements of color. You can mathematically display all the possible colors of a shape on a cube. Red and green make yellow, red and blue make purple and green and blue make a teal but all 3 together make white. We have to add black in the middle because it needs to exist.
