Meets eumaios so he could see what"s going on in palace and how to proceed. Athena brings telemachos home and following athena"s instructions, he returns home and is greeted by. Eumaios and refers to him in fatherly way and sees odysseus but doesn"t know who he is. T asks e what"s going on in palace and he says that penelope can"t deal with situation of suitors and they"re eating house away.
