On vacation, you have a package tour with a fixed itinerary. Mixed methods: combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, researchers will be influenced by a bias. Generic social processes: acquiring perspectives, achieving identity, doing activity, developing relationships, experiencing emotionality, achieving linguistic fluency. Impression management: helps researchers with the scope of the research project, expands their analysis. Implications: need an ontological and epistemological stance, literature review. What is ontology: nature of being, of reality, what is happening in the world, branch of western philosophy called metaphysics.
