Twiter: hashtags and folksonomies how do they come into being, how do you get people to follow you? who are you , voice, tone, point of view people follow consistency, authenticity, value. Tumblr and instagram: good for visual content sharing so good comic location, being good citizen helps if people follow/share your stuff, return the favour intensely social spaces sharing expected and encouraged. Reddit: popular for sharing specific timely items can spread rapidly in the right subreddit, an ama can build/stoke a fanbase.
