Document Summary

Seaton emphasizes the truthfulness of his writing- i am just putting pen to paper, everything is legit. But word seen just shows that writer is assuming from a human perspective. But mount feel that seaton uses the romantic model how lobo is being characterized- king, tyrant, wilderness hierarchy-ie romantic hero. He starts with supernatural anti-hero- disregard for sheep and human settlement but towards the end there is a sanitized perspective of him. Animal story and autobiography- the human hand become amanuensis ( person employed to write or type what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another. P118- did not believe till i met him- then got to know him- his knowledge and experience, and privilege to tell story- larger than life stories told by cowboys- they propagated the myth of lobo. Shows that story is not made up or imagined.
