Office of the fire marshal: fire may have happened at a scene to cover up something else, destroy evidence, etc. However, fire may also just be natural and due to electricity problems. Ministry of labour: looking for faults in training and machinery on the job when injury occurs. Special investigations unit: overseeing police community within the provincial government. Admissibility in court: if you can"t admit an evidence in court, then it"s not even worth collecting. Preservation of life: take the victim to the hospital to attempt to save their lives asap. Record/recall: time, persons present, scene details. Limit access to the scene - route in/out: protect the scene and prevent any chance of other things being deposited there by other people.
