Immediately notify a coroner or police officer of the facts and circumstances relating to the death and where the officer is notified they immediately notify the coroner. Other reportable deaths: cas, group residences, psychiatric, long term care, incarcerated. Interference with body: decapitation, transection (cut in half, decomposition, cannot interfere with or alter bod until the coroner so directs with warrant practitioner. Forensic identification officer: can only transfer authority to police or qualified medical. Execute power under coroners act when directed by coroner.
