Implicit personality theory – we identify di.erent character traits that
go together
Interactionist Approach:
Behavior is a function of dispositions and the situation (I,e, personality
and work setting)
Situations can be:
-Strong – roles, rules, contingencies are more de9ned
-Weak – roles are loosely de9ned, few rules and weak
reinforcement
