Power is zero sum (if someone has more, someone else has less) there is no. Masculist way of seeing the world, tends to marginalized women from positions of power as they are seen of incapable. Ability or capacity to produce change, to transform self and others. Derives from legitimacy, expertise and social standing. Powerful actor has the ability to make and break the rules that others must follow. Faces fewer consequences for breaking rules than other actors. Can initiate conversations, change topics, interrupt others, and otherwise. The ability to obtain preferred outcomes through attraction (guilt tripping etc. ) This is a very cheap way of getting power.
