Trump"s claim is to defeat isis you must eliminate the resources that sustain them. To make an argument that oil sustains isis, you must provide evidence of how oil revenue sustains isis and the ways in which this revenue is used. A correlation must be demonstrated between oil and isis where the oil points towards the growth of isis and their activities of terror. Trump unfortunately does not provide evidence or argument. He stated his opinion, which any one can do. To make an argument you must weigh all the relevant evidence to demonstrate the validity of your thesis. Opinions require no prior knowledge no evidence no weighing of evidence no logic or analysis not subject to revision. Argument require no prior knowledge require evidence require weighing evidence . requires logical analysis subject to revision.
